Abstract

The reputation of an institution is closely related to how accurately and properly the professions performed in that institution are performed. In terms of professions, each profession is an important source of reputation as it meets a need of the society. Professional ethics is a regulator for the protection and development of any profession. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of professional ethics perceptions on institutional reputation of food and beverage service employees in accommodation establishments with the investment and operation certificate of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism operating in the tourism sector in Istanbul. Within the scope of the study, the findings obtained by the questionnaire technique from 391 participants were evaluated. According to the analysis findings, professional ethics has a significant effect on corporate reputation. In addition, significant relationships were determined between all sub-dimensions of professional ethics and corporate reputation and presented in detail in the conclusion section.>
