WORK-LIFE BALANCED FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENT IN TERMS OF SOLVING PROBLEMS RELATED TO WOMEN’S JOB PERFORMANCE

The aim of this article is to examine the job performance of female employees in terms of women’s work-life balance problems and flexible working. First of all, works of various national and foreign authors were studied. Then, the legal situation regarding female employees in the world, in the member states of the EU and Turkey were examined and shown in various statistical tables. The prominent issue in this article is that, taking into account their responsibilities regarding work-life balance problems, female employees can achieve their job performance with flexible working. These problems were grouped and examined as personal, social and intitutional problems. Finally, examples of flexible working practices in EU member countries and their flexible hour arrangements are given. In the light of these information, the effect and importance of flexible work on women's work performance in Turkey was emphasized.
