THE RELATİONSHİP BETWEEN ETHİCAL LEADERSHİP, ORGANİSATİONAL CYNİCİSM, AND JOB SATİSFACTİON: A RESEARCH ON TEACHERS

School administrators, who lead their employees with leadership qualities, contribute to students' more successful education by increasing the sense of belonging and motivation in teachers. School administrators' adherence to ethical principles while making and implementing decisions, adopting a leadership approach that will create a role model for their stakeholders, can also bring corporate respectability. In this context, the main purpose of the study is to reveal the relationships between perceived ethical leadership, organizational cynicism, and job satisfaction and to uncover the mediating role of organizational cynicism in the relationship between perceived ethical leadership level and job satisfaction. One of the quantitative research approaches, the cross-sectional screening method was used, and data were collected from 1365 participants from teachers and school administrators working in various schools and levels located in Izmir province of Turkey. The most remarkable finding of the study is that perceived ethical leadership has not lost its significant effect on job satisfaction, while it has been found that the effect of organizational cynicism on job satisfaction continues.
